Accurately measure your head for a custom wig using a tape measure in 6 steps.

Step 1: Circumference
Wrap the tape measure around your head, just above your ears and across your forehead. Make sure it's snug but not too tight. Record the measurement in inches or centimeters.

Step 2: Front to Back
Measure from your natural hairline at the front of your head to the nape of your neck at the back. Record this measurement.

Step 3: Ear to Ear Hairline
Measure from the hairline of one ear, over the top of your head, to the hairline of the other ear. Ensure the tape measure is level across your forehead. Record the measurement.

Step 4: Ear to Ear Over Top
Measure from the top of one ear, over the crown of your head, to the top of the other ear. Keep the tape measure level. Record this measurement.

Step 5: Temple to Temple
Measure from the temple area on one side of your head, across the forehead, to the temple area on the other side. Ensure the tape measure is straight. Record the measurement.

Measure across the back of your head, from one side of the nape to the other. Keep the tape measure straight and level. Record this measurement.
